This is a list of the new characters mentioned in Another Chance: Book Three. The list does not include those that visit from other stories, so it is incomplete, but you can reference this list when trying to figure out who is who. As the author, I feel a need to look at my list so I remember who belongs where, and I know some readers have commented on wanting a list. You are welcome to print this for your own personal use. Paris Paris was a waitress in the Italian restaurant. Paris was introduced in Chapter One.
	Platinum Breed: Quarter Horse Color: Pale Palomino Gender: Colt Platinum and Plutonium came early and everyone was worried that they wouldn't make it. When Platinum was born, Brock wanted to give the colt to Jake. At the time, they thought there was only the one colt. When Plutonium was born, he was given to Brock. Platinum was introduced in Chapter Two.

	Shadow DoB: 14 July 1998 DoD: 14 July 2009 Breed: Alaskan Malamute - Doberman Mix Eyes: Black/Tan Gender: Female Dog belonging a friend of Jim's. The dog gave birth to five puppies but never looked pregnant. Shadow was first mentioned in Chapter Two.
Oro Breed: Chincoteague Ponies Color: Palomino Gender: Stallion Oro was one of six Chincoteague Ponies that arrived just before the Fourth of July Parade. Oro was introduced in Chapter Three.
3	Kage Satake Hair: Black Eyes: Brown Orientation: Unknown Kage Satake was the owner of Chrysos, Gold's Sire Kage was introduced in Chapter Three.
Chrysos Breed: Quarter Horse Color: Palomino Gender: Stallion Chrysos was the sire of Gold, and owned by Kage. Chrysos was introduced in Chapter Three.
	Gertrude Orientation: Straight Gertrude was the former receptionist at Jake's elementary school. Gertrude was introduced in Chapter Three.
Dan Black DoB: Hair: Eyes: Orientation: Dan Black was the principal at Jake's elementary school. AKA Danny Claus or Dandalf. Dan was introduced in Chapter Three.
	Zack Allen Jordan DoB: 21 June 2015 Zack is Aunt Brenda's baby. She named him after Zac, but added the "k" Zack was introduced in Chapter Five.
Eric Eric was a bully in the group home, he picked on Jake any chance he got. In a later chapter of this book, Eric turns his life around. Eric was introduced in Chapter Five.
	Timmy Timmy was a boy in the group home. Timmy was introduced in Chapter Five.
Tina Louise Caulfield Hair: Curly Black Orientation: Straight Tina Louise Caulfield was a woman claiming to be Jake's birth mother. Tina was introduced in Chapter Six.
	Harvey Cox Orientation: Straight Harvey Cox is the lawyer in the firm where Heather works. He works in "Family Law" and handled Jake's custody battle. He is also the attorney for Matt McCrery and he is the trustee over Patrick's trust fund. Harvey was introduced in Chapter Seven.
Judge Bishop Judge Bishop was the judge originally scheduled to preside over Jake's custody hearing. Bishop was mentioned in Chapter Seven.
	Judge Jedidiah Prescott Orientation: Straight Judge Jedidiah Prescott was the judge who presided over Jake's custody hearing. He proved to be very prejudice. Prescott was introduced in Chapter Eight.
Mr. White Orientation: Straight Mr. White was the lawyer for Tina Louise Caulfield Mr. White was introduced in Chapter Eight.
	Joshua Buchanan, Judge Orientation: Straight Joshua Buchanan was Jake's birth maternal grandfather, the father of Jacqueline, . He was also a judge on the Wyoming Judicial Board. Joshua was introduced in Chapter Eight.
Jacqueline Buchanan Orientation: Straight Jacqueline Buchanan was Jake's real birth mother, she died giving birth. Jacqueline Buchanan was introduced in Chapter Eight.
	Jacob Bates Orientation: Straight Jacob Bates was Jake's birth father, he died during basic training in the Marines. Jacob was mentioned in Chapter Eight.
Toranado Breed: Mustang Color: Black w/ a White Blaze Gender: Gelding Toranado was a black mustang gelding with a white blaze, Austin's horse Toranado was introduced in Chapter Eight.
	Martha Bates Orientation: Straight Martha Bates was the mother of Jacob Bates; she's Jake's birth paternal grandmother. Martha was introduced in Chapter Nine.
Norman Bates Orientation: Straight Norman Bates was the father of Jacob Bates; he's Jake's birth paternal grandfather. Norman was introduced in Chapter Nine.
	Deputy Shannon Deputy Shannon was a deputy in the Park Count Sheriff's Office. Shannon was introduced in Chapter Ten.
Lenny King, FBI Lenny King was the agent who handled Joe's kidnapping. Lenny was introduced in Chapter Ten.
	Maria Maria was a receptionist at the Bill Cody Ranch. Maria was introduced in Chapter Eleven.
Gerald "Gerry" Ryder DoB: 22 June 1980 Hair: Eyes: Orientation: Straight Gerald "Gerry" Ryder was the Contractor rebuilding the Ranch after the tornado took it out. Gerry was introduced in Chapter Eleven.
	Midnight Rider Breed: Arabian Color: Black w/ a White mane and tail Gender: Stallion Midnight Rider was Gerry Ryder's horse. Midnight Rider was introduced in Chapter Eleven.
Patrick Andrew Bolt, Formerly Patrick Andrew Roberts DoB: 14 May 2004 Hair: Dark Brown, almost Black Eyes: Brown Orientation: Gay Patrick's parents were killed by a drunk driver and came to live with Zac and Jim on Zac's eighteenth birthday. Patrick was introduced in Chapter Eleven.
	Miss Childress Miss Childress was the CPS Social Worker assigned to Patrick's case. Miss Childress was introduced in Chapter Twelve.
Paul Andrew Roberts Orientation: Straight Paul Andrew Roberts was the father of Patrick Andrew Roberts. He and his wife were killed by a drunk driver. Paul was introduced in Chapter Fourteen.
	Patricia Ann Roberts Orientation: Straight Patricia Ann Roberts was the mother of Patrick Andrew Roberts. As stated with her husband, she was killed by a drunk driver. Patricia was introduced in Chapter Fourteen.
Miss Columbus Miss Columbus was a neighbor to Patrick's parents Miss Columbus was introduced in Chapter Fifteen.
	Milo and Jay Milo and Jay are two cats belonging to Miss Columbus Milo and Jay were first mentioned in Chapter Fifteen.
Gabriel Kennedy Gabriel was an autistic boy, son of the family who bought Patrick's house. Gabriel was introduced in Chapter Seventeen.
	Chase LeDoux Dubois Orientation: Unknown Chase LeDoux Dubois was a boy in Jake's kindergarten class Chase was introduced in Chapter Seventeen.
Tobias "Toby" Maelstrom DoB: Hair: Eyes: Orientation: Straight Tobias "Toby" Maelstrom was a boy in Patrick's class who started out as a bully and ended up being friends with Patrick. Toby was introduced in Chapter Seventeen.
	Regina Maelstrom Orientation: Straight Regina Maelstrom was Toby's mother Regina was introduced in Chapter Eighteen.
Richard Maelstrom Orientation: Straight Richard Maelstrom was Toby's father. When Jim and Zac first met he, he was very homophobic. Richard was introduced in Chapter Eighteen.
	Scott Gavin DoB: 22 September 2005 Hair: Blonde Eyes: Green Orientation: Gay Scott Gavin was a boy in Patrick's class he seems to have a crush on him and Patrick has feelings for. And Scott has feelings for Patrick. Scott was introduced in Chapter Nineteen.
Ed Gavin Orientation: Straight Ed Gavin was Scott's father. Ed was introduced in Chapter Nineteen.
	Dena Gavin Orientation: Straight Dena Gavin was Scott's mother. Dena was introduced in Chapter Nineteen.
Patrick's Dream Breed: Mustang Color: Palomino Gender: Stallion Patrick's Dream was owned by Patrick Henry, a boy with leukemia. When the boy was close to death, he gave the horse to Patrick Bolt, who was the first person to befriend him since he became sick. Patrick's Dream was introduced in Chapter Twenty-Two.
	Patrick Henry DoB: 4 July 2005 Hair: Eyes: Orientation: Straight Patrick was a boy with leukemia. When he thought he was about to die, he gave his horse to Patrick Bolt. Jim arranged for a special rodeo and had Patrick ride Aurixi in the parade. Patrick miraculously healed. Patrick was introduced in Chapter Twenty-Two.
Maelstrom Breed: Paint Color: Brown and White Gender: Gelding Maelstrom is one of two horses bought by Richard Maelstrom for him and Toby. Maelstrom was introduced in Chapter Twenty-Two.
	Marshmallow Breed: Appaloosa Color: White with gray spots Gender: Mare Marshmallow is one of two horses bought by Richard Maelstrom for him and Toby. Marshmallow was introduced in Chapter Twenty-Two.
Miss DeWine Miss DeWine was a teacher in Patrick's school. She saw an eighth grader swing a punch at Patrick and hit Scott, so she made all three boys go to the principal's office. Miss DeWine was introduced in Chapter Twenty-Three.
	Sean Williams DoB: Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown Orientation: Gay, closeted at first Sean was a bully who swung at Patrick and hit Scott. He also picked on Gabriel Kennedy. Later, he comes out to Walker Jenkins and they start dating. Sean was introduced in Chapter Twenty-Three.
Principal Davenport Principal Davenport is the man in charge at the Cody Middle School. Principal Davenport was introduced in Chapter Twenty-Three.
	Walker Jenkins DoB: Hair: Brown Eyes: Blue Orientation: Gay Walker Jenkins is the son of Officer Jenkins. He has a habit of stopping bullies from picking on weaker classmates, and he befriends Sean after Sean quit being a bully. He's also the quarterback for the Middle School's football team. Walker was introduced in Chapter Twenty-Three.
Melissa Jenkins Orientation: Straight Melissa Jenkins is the wife of Officer Dennis Jenkins and mother of Walker Jenkins. Little else is said about her. Melissa was introduced in Chapter Twenty-Four.
	Mr. Williams Orientation: Straight Mr. Williams is Sean's father. He was the one who made Sean feel worthless. Mr. Williams was introduced in Chapter Twenty-Five.
Mrs. Kennedy Orientation: Straight Mrs. Kennedy is Gabriel's mother. Mrs. Kennedy was introduced in Chapter Twenty-Five.
	Mr. Kennedy Orientation: Straight Mr. Kennedy is Gabriel's father. Mr. Kennedy was introduced in Chapter Twenty-Five.
Connor Williams Connor was Sean's older brother. Five years older than Sean, he died at the age of eleven in a horse riding accident. Connor was mentioned in Chapter Twenty-Five.
	Uncle Joey Breed: Mustang Color: Brown Gender: Colt Uncle Joey was born two days before Joe's birthday, so Scott gave him his name to honor Joe. Uncle Joey was introduced in Chapter Twenty-Nine.
John Henry John Henry is Patrick Henry's father. John was introduced in Chapter Twenty-Nine.
	Maggie Henry Maggie Henry is Patrick Henry's mother. Maggie was first mentioned in Chapter Twenty-Two and named in Chapter Twenty-Nine.
Bobby Kincaid Bobby Kincaid was an eight-year-old boy in a wheelchair. When Jake found a big Easter egg, he gave it to Bobby. Bobby was injured when his father was teaching him how to ride a horse. Bobby was introduced in Chapter Thirty.
	Robert Kincaid Robert Kincaid was the foreman of the cattle part of the ranch. He is also Bobby Kincaid's father. Robert was introduced in Chapter Thirty.
Patrick's Miracle Breed: Mustang Color: Palomino Gender: Colt Patrick's Miracle was a Rescue Horse from Utah. Patrick Henry adopted him. Patrick's Miracle was first mentioned in Chapter Twenty-Six and finally introduced in Chapter Thirty.
	Sebastian Hardin DoB: Hair: Eyes: Orientation: Sebastian Hardin was a bully in Jim's Senior Class. When he found that he couldn't boss Jim around, he brought a gun to school and accidentally shot Chris. Sebastian was introduced in Chapter Thirty-One.
Darla Hampton Darla Hampton is Chelsie's mother and the nurse over the ICU when Chris was in there. Darla was introduced in Chapter Thirty-Two.
	Jake Patrick McCrery DoB: 18 February 2016 Jake McCrery is Matt and Gina's baby. Jake was introduced in Chapter Thirty-Three.
